Thats an interesting question. Something just for me or something to benefit everyone?
If money was unlimited – I reckon I’d build some sort of massive solar power plant in the middle of the sahara and maybe another one in the autralian outback or the Mojave dessert – and a huge network of under-sea cables to take the power to everywhere in the world.
That might not be enough for the whole planet, so we might have to also build a load more off-shore wind turbines.
And then we’d need a load of huge battery storage systems to store some of the power for when the sun isnt shining or there isnt enough wind.
And if I had a bit of spare change after that then I’d build myself a boat – I’ve always fanied doing that!

      Wow! That’s a great question 🙂

I think if I had unlimited money I’d spend it on building safe and secure housing for everyone! There’s lots of shanty towns and poorly constructed houses around the world that people live in and these areas can also be affected by things like landslides and earthquakes and other natural disasters. If I had unlimited money I’d make sure not only we gave everyone around the world safe housing, but that it was able to protect them against these natural disasters. This would also mean rebuilding (or strengthening) lots of housing in areas you wouldn’t think about – things like houses in America to withstand hurricanes and tornados.

      What would you build?

An under sea tunnel to link Europe to the USA. and develop really fast mass transit system such as MagLev to use in it. It would be a cool project and it would save so many plane journeys across the Atlantic.

Well we’ve got transport, energy and housing sorted, not sure what’s left?!

I would build a space station and pay for flights for normal people, so that tons more people can experience what it’s like to go up into space and see the planet from above. Maybe then we’d all have a bit more of appreciation for the Earth & all the people on it.

How about you, what would you build?
