I graduated in 1998 and I know that seems a long time ago, but I have enjoyed every day of being an engineer.

      Hi JleonardN 🙂

I suppose I became an engineer when I started at university in 2009. So, that’s seven years now (gosh that makes me feel old!!).

I haven’t been actually working as an engineer for long though – I graduated two years ago.

      Hi JleonardN,

I’ve not been an Engineer that long really. I started my degree in 2010 so I’ve been working or studying Engineering for 6 years – it’s flown by!

Whilst I was studying at University, I worked as an Engineer on a construction site and but when I graduated two years ago I started working properly as a Geotechnical Engineer 🙂

8 years now. Although if you include some of the summer work I did during Uni then it’s a bit longer.
